August 2025 Prayer Calendar

In Bangladesh, bold disciples are pressing into darkness. Will you pray for them?

Pray for Bangladesh

Dear Prayer Partner,

Thanks for locking arms with us in prayer. Seriously—it means the world.

This August, we’re turning our focus to Bangladesh. It’s a nation of over 170 million people, most of whom have never heard the name of Jesus. It’s a place of deep spiritual need, political instability, and frequent natural disasters. And yet—God is at work.

We’ve got a small, fearless team of 3 on the ground partnering with local churches to train and launch disciple-makers. The work isn’t easy. It’s slow, gritty, and often risky. But it’s happening. And your prayers? They fuel it.

So let’s lean in and lift our voices—because breakthrough is possible.

Lord, we cry out for Bangladesh. Bring peace where chaos reigns. Bring justice where there’s injustice. Bring healing where there’s pain.

Protect this nation from floods and disasters. Strengthen the vulnerable—the orphans, the enslaved, the exploited. Cover and empower every believer standing firm in hostile places.

We’re asking big: Open hearts in unreached Muslim communities. Spark movements of discipleship that can’t be stopped. Light up entire villages with Your love.

Strengthen and sustain every trainer, church planter, and prayer leader. Give them vision, perseverance, and joy as they press into hard places.

And Lord—call forth more laborers. Equip and send workers into this harvest field.
Let Your Kingdom come in Bangladesh. Let the name of Jesus be lifted high. We’re here for it. And we’re praying with everything we’ve got. Amen.

Until the whole world knows,

The Impact of Every One on Mission

Jember, a disciple-maker in a primarily Muslim country, said: “Global opened our eyes about how to do missions. Our main task is to send disciple-makers into this region and plant churches where there were none. This region is more than eighty-five percent Muslim; in some places, it’s one hundred percent. There are five hundred villages with no church! The first year, we trained twenty-five workers. God helped us and we have seen fruit.”
