Hope Rising in Central East Africa 🌍 — Join Us in Prayer

July 2025
Pray for Central East Africa

Dear Prayer Partner,

Can you believe we are officially halfway through 2025!

How are those new year, new you resolutions you made in January 2025 going? No condemnation from me regardless of how those have gone but rather an encouragement…

Would you make these last 6 months of 2025 count?

One of the greatest ways we can do that is in our prayer life! Could these next 6 months of your life be marked by a hunger and thirst for righteousness expressed through prayer?

This July, we’re lifting up the Central East Africa Region, including Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern DR Congo. In these countries alone there is nearly 140 million people. The spiritual need is great.

While many people in these countries identify as Christians, few are walking closely with Jesus. That means the doors are wide open for disciple-making and church planting.

At the same time, the reality on the ground is difficult. The eastern border of DR Congo has long been marked by violence and unrest, as more than 100 armed groups fight over land rich in natural resources. It’s heartbreaking. This conflict has left deep wounds with decades of fear, loss, violence, and the displacement of people.

But even here, in the midst of brokenness, God is writing a redemption story.

We’re so thankful for our incredible team—Micah, Dinah, Simeon, and a committed group of facilitators who are pouring their hearts into this work. And the impact? It's amazing:

  • 1,222 disciple-makers trained

  • 671 new fellowships started

  • 7,694 new disciples worshiping Jesus

  • 402 new small businesses launched to support church growth

Let’s praise God for this Kingdom momentum and keep praying for peace, strength, and continued multiplication across Central East Africa.

Your prayers are part of this beautiful unfolding story and please believe that the Holy Spirit is beckoning you into greater intimacy in prayer. An
