Nov Appeal

Dear friend,

With recent disruptions, our most recent newsletter has been held up. Keep a look out for it when the strike is resolved. In the meantime, I’d like to share an overview of the update.

Our team is committed to bringing the truth of Jesus Christ to all people—even into regions dominated by false teachers, satanic worship and witchcraft. They KNOW our God is more powerful than the evil spirits.

A newly converted family living near the municipality of Tiripetio sent an urgent message to our team. They were terrified by an attack from evil spirits. While the family prepared for the day, they listened to the praise recording our disciple-makers had left them. Overtop of the recording, they heard terrifying threats. Confused, they didn’t know what was happening. Then, their oldest daughter understood. This was a Satanic attack because they had chosen to follow Christ.

Our disciple-makers came to their home. They prayerfully fought the evil spirits and raised an altar to God in their home. The home is now a centre of intercession, fighting evil spirits that dominate the region.

Preaching the gospel threatens the power of the evil spirits. We are not surprised by the instances of Satanic attacks. Satan does not want the people to be freed from his domination by the power of Jesus Christ.

We need more disciple-makers. We need to build churches to help disciple families, teaching God’s Word, and praying with them as they work to conquer the age-old traditions that continue to enslave the people.

Here’s how you can help:

1.     Pray. Pray that God would give our team wisdom and faith. Pray for confidence in the promise that all who accept Christ will be freed from the bondage of sin.

2.    Promote. Invite us to your church. We would love to spend time with you, sharing the stories of God’s amazing power as He reaches those who have never heard the good news.

3.    Provide. We need more disciple-makers. The annual cost to support 1 disciple-maker is $80 a month. Your monthly gift makes it possible for us to invite another disciple-maker to go to the least reached, bringing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
