They said no Christian would survive here... they were wrong

Brother Abera lives and serves in one of the most dangerous places to be a Christian. A place 99 percent radical Muslim, where following Jesus can mean death.

He’s been stabbed, beaten, and left for dead. Militants even dug up his father’s grave to try to force him out. But Abera refused to leave. He believed God had called him to stay and share the hope of Christ.

What happened next can only be described as miraculous.

A local imam’s daughter, secretly a believer, begged her father for a Christian burial.

After Abera conducted the funeral, 17 Muslims secretly came to Abera and surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ.

Soon there were 32 more Christ-followers in this place. Two secret fellowships were started. And the number of believers continues to grow! Praise be to God.
