Your generosity is helping plant new churches

Thank you for your incredible generosity. Since Andre shared the story of what God has been doing through Global Disciples this year and our goal to raise $150,000 to plant 42 new churches, you’ve helped us reach the first $50,000!

Pastor Ibada
Ibada is a pastor in a region that has very little Christian influence. Witchcraft, crime and high murder rates dominate communities surrounding him. Called by God and trained by Global Disciples, Ibada was transformed by God’s love. All he had was the story of what God had done in his life.

Through Global Disciples, he trained 25 men and women and then led the disciple-makers to villages in the rugged mountains nearby. One day, friends of a very sick man brought him to Ibada. In the name of Jesus, the believers prayed over him. Miraculously, the man was healed. In front of his Muslim friends, he got up and began eating. Seventeen of his friends came to Christ that day.

Over the past years, Ibada and his disciple-makers have planted 15 thriving churches.

In this very dark place, the light of Jesus is shining through!

At Global Disciples, we work in partnership with disciple-makers like Ibada. Our prayer is to build sustainable and thriving churches.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 this Christmas to:

• train over 300 disciple-makers

• make 750 disciples

• plant 42 churches

$3,500 plants a new church. And if you can’t do $3,500, $80 a month trains a disciple-maker who will walk with three new Christians over the year.

We have churches and disciple-makers asking for training, but we’ve had to turn them down. Your special gift towards our goal will help us reach our goal.
